EX 1.01  Introduction to Spreadsheets

 

You will be able to:

1. Identify and describe an electronic spreadsheet.

2. Understand the purpose of an electronic spreadsheet.

3. Provide an overview of Excel's capabilities.

4. Explore the worksheet using the mouse and keyboard.

5. Enter labels and make corrections.

6. Save and close a workbook.

 

What you will use:

What you will do:

1. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office XP" workbook and read pages 175-178,

practicing as requested. Complete the Exercise on page 179.

2. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office XP" workbook and read pages 181-184. Create

the spreadsheet on page 185. Show the spreadsheet to your instructor when you

are finished.

3. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office XP" workbook and read pages 187-189.

Complete the exercise on page 190. Show the spreadsheet to your instructor when

you are finished.

4. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office XP" workbook and read pages 192-195.

Complete the exercise on page 196. Show the spreadsheet to your instructor when
