PP 1.01 Introduction to Presentation Graphics
You will be able to: · Open a blank presentation, insert text in a presentation, add slides and save · a new presentation. · Work with slide views, move around in a presentation, check spelling, print a · presentation and apply a different template. · Insert objects in a presentation · Move, copy, duplicate and delete slides · Work in outline view and create a summary slide
What you will use: "Learning Microsoft Office 2003"
What you will do: 1. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 433-437, practicing as requested. Complete Exercise 1 on page 438.
2.Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 440-443. Complete the Exercise on page 444. Print a handout with three slides per page.
3.Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003” and read pages 446-447. Complete the Exercise on page 448. Print the slides as handouts, with four slides per page.
4. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 451-452. Complete the Exercise on page 453. Print handouts with 6 slides per page.
5. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 455-456. Complete the Exercise on page 457. Print the outline.
6. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 459-460. Complete the Exercise on page 461. Print the presentation as slides.
PP 1.02 Editing and Formatting Presentations
You will be able to: Select and align text in a presentation, enhance text appearance, and apply slide color schemes and backgrounds. Copy text formatting, move and copy text, adjust paragraph spacing. Create slide and title masters, work in slide master view, insert footer in text, and change bullets. Work with rulers and guides, use floating toolbars, create graphic objects, work with autoshapes, group and ungroup objects and layer objects. Create a custom template and work with custom templates. Add an organization chart and use charts and tables in a presentation.

Complete the Exercise on page 475. Print the slides in slide view. 3.Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 478-480. Complete the Exercise on page 481. Print the handouts with 4 slides per page. 4. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 483-486. Complete the Exercise on page 487. 5. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read page 489. Complete the Exercise on page 490. 6. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read page 492-493. Complete the Exercise on page 494. 7. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 496-498. Complete the Exercise on page 500. 8. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 503-504. Complete the Exercise on page 505.
PP 1.03 Setting Up a Slide Show
You will be able to: 1. Check slides for style and consistency, show a presentation, add transitions, sound and timings. 2. Work with animation and use the animation effects toolbar. 3. Use the annotation feature. 4. Create notes pages and handouts, work with notes master and handout master. 5. Set up and run a presentation and create continuously running presentatiions.

What you will do: 1. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 510-513. Complete the Exercise on page 514 . Show the slide presentation to your instructor. 2. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read page 515-517. Complete the Exercise on page 518. Show the slide presentation to your instructor. 3. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read page 519-520. Complete Exercise on page 521. Show the presentation to your instructor. 4. Obtain "Learning Microsoft Office 2003" and read pages 522-523. Complete the Exercise on page 525.
