Week of March 31st--All StudentsWeekly Update--Week of March 31st (5 items)1) CONGRATULATIONS to Carrie Austermann for being selected Student of the Month for MARCH! Carrie has not only done a great job at her internship site, she turned in all Progress Reports ON TIME and scored over 90% on each. Excellent work, Carrie! 2) Remember, there was a progress report due for the week of spring break (due last Sunday 3/30). If you did not work over spring break, you should still turn in a Professional Reading. There was no question of the week. If you do not turn this report in by this Sunday (3/6) you will receive a zero. 3) The next field trip will take place on Tuesday, April 15th from 2-4:30 at the Denver Open Media studios located at 700 Kalamath Street, Denver 80204. If you have only attended one trip so far, you are required to attend this field trip. 4) Don't forget the Sponsor Appreciation Ceremony is Thursday, May 8th from 4:30-6pm. This is a REQUIRED event. Invitations will go out to your sponsors on Monday, April 7th. 5) Weekly Question: a) If you were in charge of the place where you are interning, what suggestions would you make to improve it? Your suggestions can be about making the business run more smoothly, making it a better place for employees/interns, making the business more productive, etc. b) I am sending invitations to your sponsors for the end of semester Sponsor Appreciation Banquet. Please send me the Name or Names of your sponsor/supervisors whom I should invite. I will automatically send the invitation to my main contact at your site, but if there is someone you have worked with a lot and would like to have invited, please give me their first and last names so I can send an invitation. c) Please let me know your parent/parents names so that I can address their invitations properly. If your mom and dad live in separate households, please provide me with both of their addresses. Have a great weekend!
