Week of March 3rd--All StudentsClass Update--Week of March 3rd (6 items)1) CONGRATULATIONS to Stephanie Spencer who was named February's STUDENT OF THE MONTH. Stephanie will receive a gift bag worth over $50. Her supervisor had this to say about her: "Stephanie is dependable and very capable. She is a hard worker and is willing to do whatever is asked of her. Most importantly the kids love her and she has been a pleasure to have as part of our classroom. A lot of times teachers don't have students because of the extra work it entails but Stephanie has only been an asset." 2) The next Student of the Month will be chosen at the end of March. If you'd like to be considered, you must get all of your weekly reports in on time, score 85% or higher and have your sponsor's recommendation. 3) Students who went on the Children's Hospital field trip last week and haven't emailed your thank you letter, please get it to me immediately so I can grade it and forward it on to Ms. Stacey Renz at the hospital. 4) I will be out of the office on Monday-Wednesday (March 10,11,12) next week. If you need to get in touch with me, please call my cell phone. 5) Goodwill is now recruiting for its summer job/internship program. If you would like to learn valuable workplace skills, while EARNING MONEY this summer, please check with me for an application. 6) Weekly Question: a) List three things you have learned about yourself while at your internship site (for example, talk about your work style, your interests, how you have changed or grown. b) What are your thoughts so far about the profession you are exploying?
