Week of February 11thExecutive Internship Students:Since there seem to be some problems with the CEC website, this week's update has also been sent to you via email. 1) Please make sure you are keeping a hard copy of your time sheet in your portfolio notebook or at home. You will be required to hand in all your hours on these sheets at the end of the semester. 2) I have scheduled two field trips so far: The Children's Museum, February 27th from 1-3pm. The second field trip is to the Denver Athletic Club, March 20th from 10-12:30pm. The third field trip will be to the Denver Open Media TV station and production company. It will be the beginning of April from approximately 2-4pm. I am still working on confirming that date. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHICH TWO FIELD TRIPS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND. 3) I am working on putting together a video promo for the Executive Internship program. I will need both crew and talent (people to be in the video). Please let me know if you are interested in either opportunity. It will be a good opportunity to earn extra credit/hours. 4) First semester students, your Learning Plan is due next week. The assignment is in your syllabus. Please contact me with any questions. 5) Weekly Question: Tell me about someone you have met at your internship site that has made a positive impression on you. What do you know about that person's background (prior jobs, education, etc.) and what is it that makes them interesting to you? Describe what it is about their work ethics, personality, or other details that make this person stand out from other employees.
