Week of February 4th--Second/Third Semester StudentsClass Update--Week of February 4th (4 items)1) There will be THREE scheduled field trips this semester and you will be required to attend TWO of them. The dates are: Wednesday, February 27th from 1-3pm at The Children's Hospital. The second field trip is: Thursday, March 20th from 10am-12:30 at the Denver Athletic Club. The third trip is still in the process of being scheduled, but will be in early April during the afternoon (after 2pm). Please put these on your calendars and begin to think about which ones you might be able to attend. 2) I am looking for students who are interested in working on a video production. I will need three students who would like to be on the "production crew" and three or more students who are interested in being IN the video talking about your experience at your internship. If you would like to help me create this video promo for the Executive Internship Program, please let me know in your weekly email. 3) Starting this month, I will be choosing a "Student of the Month". This student will have shown excellent progress at his/her internship during the month, turned in all four/five weekly reports, scored 85% or higher on each report, had good attendance and a recommendation from his/her sponsor. There will be a prize for the winner each month. In addition, there will be a "Student of the Semester" award given at our Sponsor Appreciation Ceremony on May 8th. 4) Weekly Question: Leadership is an essintial skill for anyone who wants to advance in a career. What is your definition of leadership? Are you a good leader? Give two examples.
