DPL, World Cat and Prospector Searches: Directions: 1.) Go to http://www.denverlibrary.org 2.) Search “Library Catalog” and DPL Catalog to the right of link. Enter “the wave” and Strasser on a keyword search. Which branch has the title? 3.) Click on “Didn’t Find it? Try this!” blue box at the bottom. 4.) Enter same search in Prospector. How many Prospector libraries have the title? Which one(s)? 5.) Try the same search in World Cat. Who has the book? Note: one of the drawbacks of World Cat is a longer wait time compared to Prospector, which draws only from Colorado and Wyoming libraries. How do you get signed up for a Denver Public Library Card? Do it now if you don’t have one!
