Sears Craftsman Scholarship - $1000 scholarships for seniors with a 2.0 GPA who plans on attending a 2 or 4 year college or trade/technical school. Must show involvement in extracurricular activities.  This scholarship does not required proof of US citizenship or permanent resident status. Applications are available at:  Sears Craftsman Scholarship, NHRA Youth and Education Services, Tiffany Bonham, Glendora, CA 91740-0950 or call 1 626 250 2427.  Deadline:  May 1, 2007.

Salvadoran-American Leadership & Education Fund - for students of Salvadoran, Central American or other Latino background with a 3.0 GPA and financial need.  Must demonstrate community service and have been admitted to a four year college.  Must write a 500 word essay.  This scholarship does not required proof of US citizenship or permanent resident status.  Applications will be available in January at www.salef.org.
Deadline will be in May.
