1940s WWII and beyondMr Convery and the Student Teacher, Mr Whitton, will be: directing centers, film reviews, readings, lectures, and discussions about the challenges faced by Americans during WWII and beyond. A special feature will be a study of the holocaust as told in comic book form that depicts the Nazis as cats and the Jewish people as mice. This unique presentation requires students to analyze reading, words that use specific dialect, as well as interpreting visual illustrations designed to inform as well as involve the student's empathy.
