Students are in the process of drafting residential floor plans using AutoCAD, the CADD program that is used in the majority of architectural and engineering firms. After completing roof plans and elevations, the students will build models of their homes using foam core. We will also be researching contemporary architects and going on several excursions. Later this semester, students will be using ArchiCAD to build 3D computer generated models of their homes.
